Having formed in 2021 following an invitation to perform with Hans Joachim Irmler of legendary experimental group Faust, the Lebanese collective have been making waves with their mind-bendingly hypnotic sound and genre-blurring merge of noise-rock, free jazz and Arabic maqams. Their debut release Aykathani Malakon (2023) is a ritual-like journey into local folklore and poetry which takes traditional Egyptian music to inspiring new heights.
