Headed by Romy Vager, RVG rose out of the Melbourne suburbs in the late 2010s with their glistening post-punk sound and sometimes surreal yet always earnest songwriting. 2023 saw the release of their highly-anticipated third album, Brain Worms, which garnered critical acclaim in The Guardian, NME and Louder Than War. Their live shows aren’t to be missed, with Rolling Stone Australia stating, “there’s no greater pleasure than seeing RVG spellbind devoted crowds.”
