This UK-based, American stand-up won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2019. She followed this up with her debut hour Stand Up with Janine Harouni at the Edinburgh Fringe where she was nominated for best newcomer. Her 2023 show Man’oushe went on to receive a nomination for the main award and was described as “quick-witted and often cynical… but unafraid of sentimentality and tenderness.”
