When Adam Betts isn’t playing drums for Goldie, Squarepusher or Jarvis Cocker, he’s making music under the moniker of Colossal Squid. Merging influences from far and wide (we’re talking grave tapes to Indonesian gabba), his third album A Haunted Leg embraces drum and bass, a big beat and the positive energy of the dancefloor. His live sets are a high-energy and upbeat concoction of gloriously glitchy eclectic sounds.
