Party-starter Dan Snaith has been making dancefloor-filling electronic music as Caribou for 20 years and sounds as fresh and effervescent as ever. Growing up in a small town in Canada, his first musical love was prog rock but he was always drawn to the potential of computers for making music. Caribou rose to fame with the beloved 2010 album Swim and Snaith cemented his status with 2015’s Our Love (spawning the perfect, glistening Can’t Do Without You). His 2024 album Honey brims with euphoria, swapping the tender melancholy of Our Love for feel-good beats and melodies that “twirl and dive like gamboling otters”.
