With just over a month to go until the summer’s last great party, we are very excited to reveal the 2022 Day Splits along with extra additions to this year’s lineup. Plus, we’re bringing live music to the Effing Forest for the first time as your beloved Disco Ship transforms into a fully-fledged live stage, The Boat. Bringing your dancing gear? You’ll still be able to boogie until the early hours alongside our usual selection of DJs.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Gabriels, Geese, Nala Sinephro and Spirit of the Beehive won’t be able to join us in September.

Texan psych-rock wizards Khruangbin and transcendental guitar gods Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs will kick things off on Thursday, whilst Robin Pecknold’s Fleet Foxes take the billing reins on Friday. They top a faultless supporting cast including Tinariwen, Durand Jones & The Indications, black midi and Porridge Radio as well as legendary Battles, bedroom pop heroine Soccer Mommy and post-punks Snapped Ankles.

Saturday is topped by loud-quiet-loud rock icons Pixies, playing just after chamber-pop hero Perfume GeniusThe Magnetic Fields, Kevin Morby and The Weather Station grace the Garden Stage, whilst trailblazer and earworm spawner I. JORDAN is our late-night DJ at the Big Top, following a live headline set by revered record producer Ross From Friends.

Bright Eyes will bring the Woods Stage to a close on Sunday, with strong support from Kurt Vile & The Violators and Hurray For The Riff Raff, and the Big Top is closed by Leeds post-punks (and friends of Sir Elton John!) Yard Act. In the Garden, we welcome the return of indie-folk powerhouse Lucy Dacus and mercurial pop queen Aldous Harding.

The Disco Ship has evolved into The Boat – a revamped and renamed space now welcoming exceptional live music including Snapped Ankles, Jockstrap and Taraka, as well as your usual DJ sets.

The Talking Heads is back to host not only the comedy lineup but also our literary talks and more live music.

We have much more to announce in the following weeks, including comedy, food & drink and more, so keep your eyes peeled.
