Ticket holders from England

If you are resident in England, and over the age of 18, you can show your Covid-19 status via the NHS Covid Pass on the NHS App. If someone in your party is aged between 11-18, they cannot access the NHS Covid Pass, they will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow or PCR Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates. You can obtain Lateral Flow tests from any UK chemist.

For more information on how to use the NHS Covid Pass, please click here. Please note that the NHS App where you will view your NHS Covid Pass is NOT the same as the NHS Covid-19 app that you will have used to scan in on Track & Trace over the past year.

Please screenshot or download a copy of your NHS Covid Pass prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can print a copy and bring this with you.

If you don’t have access to a smartphone or computer, then you can call 119 or go online here to request a letter to demonstrate your vaccination status. Please note that the letter can take up to 5 working days to reach you. This letter will be sent to the address registered with your GP.

If you cannot access your NHS Covid Pass for whatever reason, or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time, you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

We will accept vaccination letter proof from the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. These letters must be from your local health service / GP and will have to match your ID.

Ticket holders from Scotland

If you live in Scotland, you can obtain your full vaccination status here. If you do not receive the letter in time, you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow or PCR Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

You can order Lateral Flow tests here or PCR tests here for home delivery or you can collect them from your local chemist. If ordering online, please ensure you order these in good time to ensure they arrive through the post in readiness of you taking a test within 48 hours prior to arrival.

How Do I Upload My NHS Lateral Flow Test?

Once you have taken your test, you will need to report your result on the Government website here. You will then need to wait approximately two hours for the result to show up on your NHS Covid Pass. You will also receive a text and/or email notification confirming your negative test result, which you will need to present on entry if you cannot access the NHS Covid Pass.

What If I Get A Positive Lateral Flow or PCR Test?

If you get a positive lateral flow or PCR test result within 14 full days prior to the start of the Event, then do not come to the festival as you will NOT be permitted entry and you will need to follow government advice, including self-isolating. Your ticket will be transferred to 2022 once we have received proof of your need to self-isolate via email – we will only accept a positive PCR test as proof of this. If you have tested positive, please contact tickets@endoftheroadfestival.com with the subject line “Covid Positive” to arrange this. We will get back to you after the festival. Please bear with us.

What If Someone I Live With (or within any childcare or support bubble) Gets A Positive Lateral Flow or PCR Test?

If someone you reside with (or within any childcare or support bubble) gets a positive lateral flow or PCR test within 14 full days prior to the start of the Event, please do not come to the festival as you will NOT be able to enter and you will need to follow government advice, including self-isolating. Your ticket will be transferred to 2022 once we have received proof of your need to self-isolate via email –  we will only accept a positive PCR test as proof of this. Please contact tickets@endoftheroadfestival.com with the subject line “Covid Positive” to arrange this. We will get back to you after the festival. Please bear with us.

What If I Develop Symptoms Of Covid-19?

If you develop symptoms of Covid-19 within 14 full days prior to the start of the Event,, please do not come to the festival as you will NOT be able to enter and you should then follow the current government guidance with regards to isolation and undertake a PCR test. Your ticket will be transferred to 2022 once we have received proof of your need to self-isolate via email –  we will only accept a positive PCR test as proof of thisl. Please contact tickets@endoftheroadfestival.com with the subject line “Covid Positive” to arrange this. We will get back to you after the festival.

What If I Am Part Of A Vaccine Trial?

We understand that some vaccine trials are unable to be registered via the NHS Covid Pass app, so we ask that you please provide proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken within 48 hours prior to arriving at the festival. For more information regarding this please see above.

How Do I Use The NHS Covid Pass App If There Is No Internet At The Festival?

The offline NHS Covid Pass functionality has just been pushed out in the iOS app and there is now the much-requested option to add to apple wallet. Otherwise we would recommend you take a screenshot or print out your proof before departing for the festival.

Will You Be Offering Testing On Site?

No – if you can’t prove your vaccination status, negative test result or proof of immunity you and those within the same vehicle will be refused entry and have to leave the site. Once you have taken a test and can prove a negative result, you and those in the same vehicle will be permitted entry to the festival. Think of it like forgetting your ticket.

Will I Be Required To Re-Test?

If you leave the site during the festival, when you return you will be required to demonstrate your valid Covid Status via the NHS Covid Pass as you did when you first arrived, so if your choice of proof is a negative Lateral Flow test result, please ensure you take an additional test and report it here before re-entering the site. We would advise bringing a supply of Lateral Flow tests with you if you plan on leaving the site and returning at any point.

Who Can Attend?

Everyone. No one is disbarred. All anyone will need is a negative lateral flow test, proof of vaccination, or proof of natural immunity. Attendance is your own decision.

Why Are You Asking That People Are Vaccinated Or Tested To Attend?

We are bound to act in the best interests of public health and our audience. We think this is the best way to mitigate the risk of the spread of Covid on site and for you all to have the best experience possible once you’re through those gates!

Can I Stay Off Site Or Leave And Come Back To The Festival?

We want to reduce this as much as possible and are asking everyone to not travel off site unless absolutely necessary. The festival will still allow re-entry but we would please encourage you to be respectful of others and mindful of the local community if staying off site. Upon re-entry, you will need to show your valid NHS Covid Pass. Please be mindful this may mean having to retake a lateral flow test so your results are still within the 48 hours prior to attendance.

Will I Have To Wear A Face Covering/Practice Social Distancing During The Event?

We will not be enforcing mask wearing but please bring one with you as there will be areas we will strongly be encouraging people to wear a face covering – ie: inside The Big Top and The Tipi Stage. Please be considerate and mindful of others around you and understand that some people attending the festival might still choose to wear a face covering.

What Covid Precautions Will There Be?

There will be increased hand sanitizing stations around the site and we are increasing the sanitizing of surfaces and high touch points around the site. Otherwise, the Festival will be as close to normal as possible.

Will I Have To Follow COVID-19 Guidelines Before And After The Event?

Yes. Follow government guidance on your way to and from the event.

What If I Present Symptoms While On Site?

If you are presenting symptoms whilst on site you and your group will need to wear masks and immediately leave. Once home you should then follow the current government guidance with regards to isolation and undertake a PCR test. Please do not go to our medical tent unless absolutely necessary so as to avoid spreading the infection. Your tickets will be transferred to 2022 once we have received proof of a positive test via email –  we will only accept a positive PCR test as proof of this. Please contact tickets@endoftheroadfestival.com with the subject line “Covid Positive” to arrange this. We will get back to you after the festival. Please bear with us.

Will The Festival Feel Different/Smaller/Less Than A Normal EOTR?

We’re doing absolutely everything we can to make the festival as normal as possible once you’re inside. Of course, there will be small differences – you might be missing your favourite caterer or tipple – but we’ve worked hard to bring as many people as possible back with us for 2021. The magic will be there ten fold after such a long break, don’t worry!

Do I Take My Test At Home Or On Site?

If you need to take a lateral flow or PCR test, you will need to do so before travelling to the Festival.

Will we have to ‘Check In’ using the NHS Test & Trace App when we arrive at the festival?

There will be QR codes at the entrances which we will encourage you to scan, although this is not mandatory. If you don’t have the app then staff can note down your details at the entrance gates.

I’m Unsure About Attending EOTR Now

We totally understand that some people may not feel comfortable attending this year. Public and staff/crew safety is of utmost importance and we are working with Public Health and Local Authorities to ensure the correct safety measures and crowd considerations are in place for the festival in order to deliver a safe event.
