26-year-old London-based singer-songwriter Westerman has released several perfectly-crafted art-pop singles over the past couple of years, each one seemingly eclipsing the one before and winning our hearts.

Since bagging the Best Country/Folk Act at London’s prestigious Unsigned Music Awards in 2016, he’s expanded his sound even further. Last year’s Ark EP confirmed him to be one of the most compelling new artists around, showcasing these new accents as he moved from the beatific minimalism of before into something more ambient and textured. Listening to it you’ll be entranced: these are bewitchingly simple electronic folk songs, innovative and full of dreamy washed guitar and warm electronics that soundtrack Westerman’s gorgeous croon, as he reflects on social media narcissism and twisted sexual dynamics.
