Regressive Left

Describing themselves as “no wave perfect for desperate young Marxists”, Regressive Left took shape over lockdown.

The three friends –  Simon Tyrie, Georgia Hardy and Will Crosby – have known each other since they were teenagers, playing on the same bills and DJing the same club nights, but it wasn’t until the pandemic struck that they started writing together as Regressive Left.

Expect political dance-punk for the coming apocalypse with influences from Fela Kuti’s politics, ESG’s vibes, Nubya Garcia’s tone and Aphex Twin’s weirdness.
