For a long time the genre-hopping dance band PVA only had half a song online, which was still enough to get people down to their head-turning live shows. The London trio now have one full song – the brilliant ‘Divine Intervention’ – and continue to fill venues with their ferocious disco-punk sets. Their evolving sound that’s as captivating as it is hard to pin down takes in everything from ’80s synth-pop, Balearic house and techno to brooding post-punk. Put simply: they’re brilliant.
