Margaret Glaspy

Glaspy’s evolution over the last few years has been fascinating to follow. Her excellent debut Emotions and Math is a quietly swaggering, honest and at times grunge-y, self-confessional record – itself a step away from the starker acoustic outings that preceded it.

Another leap came in 2020 when Glaspy presented us with Devotion, which she says is like a series of hard-earned life lessons: “I’m learning that life is painful but you take the bad with the good; that love is hard but if you love someone, you make yourself available; that life is short and it’s okay to be sincere.” We’ll drink, and dance, to that in the summer!
