Jim Ghedi

Jim Ghedi is a 12-string player of the highest order, a fact which has made him a prominent name in the current underground fingerstyle guitarist scene in Britain, a scene that includes the likes of Nick Jonah Davis and C Joynes. His 2015 album, Home Is Where I Exist, Now To Live And Die, brilliantly showcased his virtuoso guitar playing but it was last year’s, A Hymn For Ancient Land, that really blew us away: a combination of gorgeous fingerpicking, lush orchestration and heartfelt songwriting which has seen him take big strides in his sound to create a small masterpiece; a homage to the subtleties of nature, place and space and one which we can’t stop listening to.
