Jim Ghedi

Jim Ghedi is a 12-string player of the highest order. His 2015 album, Home Is Where I Exist, Now To Live And Die, brilliantly showcased his virtuoso guitar skills but it was 2017’s, A Hymn For Ancient Land, that really blew us away: a combination of gorgeous fingerpicking, lush orchestration and heartfelt songwriting which has seen him take big strides in his sound to create a small masterpiece; a homage to the subtleties of nature, place and space. But he hasn’t stopped there. He’s released In The Furrows of Common Place in early 2021 and it’s one we haven’t been able to stop listening to.
