Drummer, vocalist and mainstay of Dalston jazz hub Total Refreshment Centre, Donna Thompson released her debut EP on PRAH recordings earlier this year. It’s a soulful fusion of jazz and R&B, echoing greats such as Minnie Ripperton. Thompson’s poetic spoken word and soulful melodies make this rising star one to watch.
