Angeline Morrison’s latest release, The Sorrow Songs, has been named a “landmark folk album”. Her work explores the Black British experience and serves to tell stories that have been lost or overlooked. Deeply moving, Morrison gives a voice to the voiceless through her stark and honest story-telling, beautiful melodies and lilting autoharp. A musician who should be on everyone’s radar, she’s certainly on ours.
