Adwaith means “reaction” in Welsh, and the Carmarthen trio have certainly caused just that with their ethereal indie-rock sound. Their latest album Bato Mato was described by Clash Music as an “ambitious trip across a visceral, oft-psychedelic landscape”, with their high-energy and impactful live sets reaffirming just how much the Welsh music scene is thriving. Fun fact: they were the first act to receive the Welsh Music Prize award twice!
