End of the Road Festival is set in lovely old Victorian pleasure gardens, woodlands and fields located on a slight hill. It is predominantly a greenfield site with varying gradients, types of terrain and pathways. The natural terrain is bumpy in parts as you would expect in lush countryside but most of the festival areas can be reached via a road or pathway.
We are committed to doing everything we can to make the festival accessible to everyone. On this page there is more information to help you plan your time at the festival. If you have any other further queries you can contact us on [email protected] and we will get back to you within 5 working days.
Staff and Artists: If you are due to work or perform at EOTR, please email us to let us know if you have any accessibility requirements – access@endoftheroadfestival.

A Personal Assistant is an Essential Companion. We will be using ‘Personal Assistant’ on this page.
Applications for Access passes such as Personal Assistant tickets, Accessible Camping and Viewing Platform access for End of The Road 2026 are now open.
You can apply for Accessible Parking, for both cars and live-in vehicles. If you are camping in a live-in vehicle in the Accessible Campsite, you will receive a Live-in Vehicle Pass, so there is no need to purchase a public live-in vehicle pass.
To apply, purchase your ticket and then please complete this application form. We will ask about your requirements and ask for a document to support your application. Once your application has been processed, you will receive confirmation by email. All documentation is kept secure and destroyed after processing.
The deadline for Accessible Campsite, Parking & Viewing Platform access applications is 1st July 2026.
The deadline for Personal Assistant applications is 15th August 2026.
Sadly we cannot accept applications past these deadlines. Additionally, if we reach capacity before these deadlines, we may have to close applications early to ensure that the number of applicants does not overwhelm the facilities booked. We recommend booking sooner to avoid disappointment.
Facilities are intended for people with long-term disabilities and health conditions. Regrettably, we are not able to provide any specific support to people with temporary injuries.
If you have any further queries you can contact us at [email protected] and we will get back to you within 5 working days.
End of the Road is a small festival, with the stages, bars and village traders positioned relatively close to one another. There are a variety of tarmac, gravel and wood chip roads and pathways linking all of the festival spaces and facilities. All of the traders and food stalls are on level grass and have flat areas in front of their counters. At Joe’s Green, the Peacock Bar has a small step up into the marquee. This is to protect the grass, which is a Victorian Wedding Lawn.
The Woods stage sits on the grass at the bottom of a gentle hill and is accessible from a gravel path. The Garden stage is level and is accessible from a gravel path. The Big Top and Folly stages are level and on an area of natural, grassy ground.
The Boat Stage area is mainly woodchip and wooded forest floor with trees lying on the ground and some tree roots. This area is lit at night but can be difficult to manoeuvre when it’s busy.
The Talking Heads Stage, where Literature and Comedy takes place, is at the bottom of a steep hill in the woods, access to which is via a woodland pathway down a short incline. There are stewards at the gate to advise you of the route down and we have created a viewing area halfway so you can have a good view of the stage without going all the way down.
The Gardens, Wonderlands, Games Area, Piano Stage and Fairy-lit Woods are all linked with smaller gravel or woodchip pathways which are wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs, and even in the rain are pretty protected by tree cover.
To help with access, especially in wet weather, there is a tarmac road from the Accessible Campsite which will give you backstage routes straight up to the Gardens, Joe’s Green, the Cinema, Folly Arena and into the main festival Village. In the festival Village there is a gravel road that runs past the Big Top and down to the Woods Stage.
The Accessible Campsite is placed within easy reach of the festival arena, but also close by to the main entrance/exit drive to ensure your arrival & departure is as smooth as possible. Due to the campsite’s close proximity to the festival arena, recorded music can often be heard into the early hours. If you think this might not be suitable for you, the Family campsite is much quieter, however it is not as close to the arena and you cannot park close to your pitch. We recommend bringing your own earplugs, but if you forget them, you can grab some from the Accessible Info Tent in the Accessible Campsite.
When you arrive through Green Gate, please ask the traffic stewards to direct you to Box Office where you can collect your festival wristband. Everyone in your travel party will need to come to the Box Office to receive their festival wristband. Please make sure that you and your PA, if applicable, bring a form of ID (a debit / credit card will suffice).
There are no steps at Box Office and there is a lowered counter at the Accessible window. Our Box Office staff are super friendly and will come out of the cabin to assist you so please just ask! Accessible Camping is then just a 30-second drive down the main driveway and on your left. Once you arrive here, you will be greeted by our Accessible Campsite managers who will issue you with your Accessible Parking Pass, Viewing Platform Lanyard & Wristband and Accessible Campsite wristband. You can also hire a Radar Key from here for a £5 returnable deposit.

For full information on getting to the festival please visit our Getting Here page.
We have a mixture of viewing platforms and viewing areas, please make the stewards in these areas aware if you require access. Access will be granted to those with the correct wristband & lanyard, which you will receive when you arrive at the Accessible Campsite and are limited to 2 per party (1 wristband and 1 lanyard). The person with accessible requirements will receive a wristband and their Personal Assistant will receive a removable lanyard that can be swapped between other members of their party.
Viewing platforms are available at the Woods Stage, the Garden Stage, the Folly and the Big Top. At the Woods Stage, there will also be a cordoned off ‘viewing area’ in front of the platform for those that don’t require the platform itself. At the Folly, those with platform wristbands & lanyards can use the Exit to enter as it is closer to the platform ramp.
A viewing area is available at the Talking Heads stage. There will be also a cordoned off viewing area at the Boat Stage, situated on the left of the Stage as you look at it. The platforms and viewing areas operate on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee access at busy times. If the viewing platforms or areas are full, we will operate a one-in, one-out process. We would advise you to arrive early if it is an act you are particularly keen to see.
EOTR will provide some chairs for each viewing platform and area, however, you may also bring your own, providing the chair isn’t too large or obstructive. If you cannot see any chairs available on the Viewing Platform, please ask a steward if there are any more. We ask you to be mindful of others when bringing your own chair onto the viewing platforms & areas. If you decide to leave the platform or area and you have brought your own chair, you must take it with you when you go.
There are accessible toilets beside the Viewing Platform at the Woods Stage. The nearest accessible toilet to the Big Top is outside and down towards the Woods Stage, approx 100m. The nearest accessible toilet to the Folly Stage is in the Folly beer garden located to the right of the stage as you look at it. The nearest accessible toilet to Garden Stage is to the left of the Viewing Platform, just down the line of hedges, approx 50m.
You can park very close to your tent in Accessible Camping, as the accessible car park is contained within the campsite area. There are accessible toilets and showers within 30m, and an Information tent which contains charging points. Please speak to the campsite stewards for help with anything else you need to make your stay comfortable and safe. They will try to accommodate as much as they can.
All pitches are 9m x 7m, whether you are camping in a tent or a live-in vehicle. Please ensure your camping setup fits within the specified pitch size.
For 2026, we are pleased to, once again, offer accessible customers boutique camping options in the accessible campsite, via Tangerine Fields. They will be open for booking in the new year. If you would like to proceed, please mention this when you email us to request your accessible camping and we will ask Tangerine Fields to get in touch with you. Please note that this will be on a first come first served basis and the number of boutique tents they can supply are limited. Please note that there will be some facilities they cannot offer in the Accessible Campsite, such as the Communal Tent and Cafe. A member of the Tangerine Fields team will come over each morning to check everything is ok with your tent (& any airbeds/sleeping bags). If you have any issues please inform the Accessible Campsite team, located in the Info Tent in the campsite.
We have blue badge parking in both our Accessible Campsite and our general car park.
Please note: If you require a live-in vehicle pitch in the Accessible campsite, please do not purchase a public live-in vehicle pass from the website as these passes are free of charge for accessible customers. You can secure a live-in vehicle pitch by completing our accessible application form.
If you will be staying off-site and returning each day, please select Accessible Day Parking.
Any non-Accessible Customers who are camping in the Accessible Campsite may drop off members of their party, but will then need to park their vehicles in the Public Car Park.
Wheelchair charging will be available within the accessible campsite, located at the Campsite Information tent by the toilets & showers. Please liaise with our accessible campsite staff about your requirements when you arrive. Any items will be left at your own risk. If you have special adapters please bring them with you as we will supply a 13amp socket only. You will also be able to charge your wheelchair or other necessary equipment at each of the Viewing Platforms on Woods, Garden, Big Top & Folly stages.
On arrival, there is an accessible toilet behind the Green Gate Box Office. There are accessible toilets and showers in the Accessible Camping area, plus accessible toilets located at all toilet blocks within the Festival Village (except for the bar/garden area behind the Folly Stage), the Gardens, Effing Forest, the Campervan field, the Boutique Campsite and the Family Campsite. Some of these also have baby-changing facilities in them. If you have a RADAR key please bring it with you as we use these locks on the toilets where possible. You can also hire a RADAR key from the Info Point in the Accessible Campsite.
Lowered counters are installed at the Black Crow bar (Woods Stage), Bear Tavern bar (opposite the Big Top), the Folly Stage Bar (in the Folly beer garden), the Garden bar (back of the Garden Stage) and the Craft Bar (in the courtyard, located on the way to the Talking Heads Stage).
All bars will have printed and laminated menus available.
If you’re looking to get away from the crowds to an area with fewer people, we suggest the following areas Library, Fairy Light Woods, Wonderland Lawns and the Folly Firepit. The Piano Stage is also a really relaxed space and you can see some special acts here if you’re lucky! We would also encourage you to check out our Healing Gardens which have an array of different treatments and therapies available.
Hearing loops will be available at the Box Office, the Information Point and the Woods Stage and Garden Stage viewing platforms.
We are currently unable to offer sign language as a service on any of our stages, but hope to be able to make improvements in future years.
In the Cinema, we will be working to try to make as many films as possible come with Closed Captions. These will be noted in the Festival Programme.
Medical Fridge
If you have medical supplies that require refrigeration, please take them to our First Aid and Welfare Tent near Joe’s Green. Our medical staff can look after it for you safely over the weekend. Please bring some form of ID with you as we will only be able to hand medication back to the named person or their PA.
First Aid Tent
Our First Aid tent is located as you leave the festival arena to enter the Wonderlands Lawn.
Regarding bringing an assistance dog to the festival, although renewed guidance states that Assistance Dogs can be owner trained and do not necessarily need to be registered with Assistance Dogs UK, we would still require some form of evidence that your dog is sufficiently trained. This could be a registered ID Book, a training log or any other evidence you think is relevant. We would also have to request that the dog be kept on a lead at all times and wear a high-vis jacket when in the arena.
Strobe lighting may be used throughout the festival site. Please speak to stewards on site for more information.
Event Mobility will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs for our accessible customers. They will be located at the Accessible Info Tent within the Accessible Campsite. To reserve an electric mobility scooter or manual wheelchair please book online here. Online bookings must be made at least 2 days before the event. Bookings cannot be taken during the event. If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first-come, first-served basis only.
