Fronted by Clams Baker, the troubadour of Paranoid London, and more than ably backed by members of Mutado Pintado, the Fat White Family, Paranoid London, Childhood and Insecure Men, Warmduscher’s sound is as wild and raucous as you’d expect when you put all those bands in one room.

They make bloodthirsty down and dirty rock ‘n’ roll (their name is a pejorative term for someone who takes warm showers) and are infamous for their raging live sets and wanting “to include everyone in the party”. Their new album Whale City is a record of uncontrollable, visceral energy – listen to “Big Wilma” as the perfect entry point to the band’s infectious, blistering riffs.
