The Lemon Twigs – brothers Michael and Brian D’Addario, 17 and 19 respectively – are whipping fans and critics alike into an utter frenzy. In the space of a year, they’ve gone from playing New York bars to signing a record deal with 4AD and have received praise from everyone from The Zombies to Questlove. The Line Of Best Fit even dubbed their music “near perfect… the best lo-fi rock & roll anthem you’ll hear this decade”.
Their debut album Do Hollywood backed up all of this adulation – a brilliant collection of songs that brought together everything from Brian Wilson and David Bowie to Queen and The Association, with a very healthy dose of their own unique pizzazz. Listen to “These Words” as it builds from a delicate whisper to a theatrical rock roar, while “How Lucky Am I?” tugs at the heartstrings. They’ve already played with Foxygen and Car Seat Headrest, so we’re happy to keep the gang together at End of the Road 2017.
