Life for King Khan and the BBQ Show began in 2002, when a string of songs were born from the blistered fingers they forged in endless jamming sessions. At first the Montreal two-piece took it easy, honing their craft, playing sporadically to crowds outraged by their incredible sound and messy live show. And when we say messy, we mean messy: blood, nudity, dancing, laughing, howling freak outs and riot inducing savagery. Love songs, punkers, dance-floor shakers, sing-along stompers, wild rockers – you name it. They always drench the crowd in raw energy, and they’re always the last ones dancing and drinking at the bar. Their brand new album, entitled Bad News Boys, is due out later this year and is the sound of a band at the top of their game.
