Singer/guitarist Brian King and drummer David Prowse, also known as Japandroids, are that uniquely extraordinary thing: a two-piece band who sound like they’re a five piece one. The Vancouver duo’s songs are an emotional blast, tapping into a power greater than two people have any right to produce.

Both their debut Post-Nothing and the follow up Celebration Rock were full of big-hearted, chaotic, fist-pumping anthems. New track “Near to the Wild Heart of Life”, released last year from their latest album of the same name, showed they’d lost none of their lustre. Get ready to throw those rock horns up when they get stuck into material from the new album.
