If you haven’t heard Creature, you need to. They may still be a young band – born in the summer of 2016 in east London – but they create vast soundscapes and bring to mind the sound of a boisterous bygone era; wild nights, spaghetti westerns and Quentin Tarantino soundtracks. This dynamic sound is led by William Yates, who introduces the return of the 1950s charismatic crooner, ably supported by William Sherkle’s lead guitar. This is the best of the old, catapulted into a modern sound.
