Baxter Dury

Baxter Dury has been releasing music of his own for 15 years, always following his own gloriously idiosyncratic path; from his guitar driven first full-length – Len Parrot’s Memorial Lift in 2002 – and its follow-up, Floor Show, through to 2014’s It’s A Pleasure – which saw him gravitate towards a more melodic, though off-kilter, pop sound. (It’s described wonderfully by its leading blurb as “one man’s wry take on the battle with existence. It’s metaphysics meets morose disco.”)
